Mieczyslaw Marian Lurczynski, born on December 14, 1908 in Saint Petersburg, died on September 28, 1992 in Paris 10, is a Polish painter. Mieczyslaw Lurczynski studied painting in Warsaw with Blanche Mercère and Adam Rychtarski. He exhibited in several Polish cities, notably at the Zacheta National Art Gallery in Warsaw. He was also a writer, publishing poetry and plays. During World War II, he joined the resistance movement of the Home Army.

Arrested in 1943 and sent to Buchenwald. After the Liberation, he lived in Hanover until 1949, then settled permanently in Paris. Dimensions: 61 x 75 cm. Mieczyslaw Marian Lurczynski, urodzony 14 grudnia 1908 w Saint Petersburgu, zmarl 28 wrzesnia 1992 w Paryzu 10, to polski malarz.

Mieczyslaw Lurczynski studiowal malarstwo w Warszawie u Blanche Mercère i Adama Rychtarskiego. Wystawial w kilku miastach Polski, w tym w Zachecie Narodowej Galerii Sztuki w Warszawie. Byl równiez pisarzem, publikujac poezje i sztuki teatralne.

Podczas II wojny swiatowej dolaczyl do ruchu oporu Armii Krajowej. Aresztowany w 1943 roku i wyslany do Buchenwaldu. Po wyzwoleniu mieszkal w Hanowerze do 1949 roku, a nastepnie osiedlil sie na stale w Paryzu.
