GIUSTO the painter used many pseudonyms such as L. There are more than a dozen in total. Two gouaches by GALIEN LALOUE, also signed F., authenticated by Noé WILLER, a specialist in the artist, were sold on November 23, 2010.

It illustrates the city of Paris during the Belle Époque, idealized, its activities on the boulevard, its illuminated shops, its Art Nouveau metro entrance (by Hector Guimard).. Note the superb white / orangish contrast between the snow effect and the lights!
Eugène GALIEN LALOUE was a prolific painter, more renowned for. His Parisian gouaches, highly sought after and which can fetch several tens of thousands of euros. He also painted a large number of landscapes and seascapes during his numerous travels in France. Gouache and watercolor on paper. 19 x 31 cm (with carved golden frame in excellent condition, approximately 34 x 46 cm).Signed at the bottom left with his pseudonym F.
