The Artwork: A captivating and luminous Italian Post-Impressionist maritime scene by the listed Venetian master Attilio Achille Bozzato. This work beautifully depicts traditional Adriatic fishing boats (bragozzi) with their iconic warm, ochre-colored sails moored peacefully along wooden pilings (bricole) in the lagoon of Chioggia, just south of Venice. Bozzato's mastery of Venetian light is on full display here: the foreground water is rendered with bold, energetic, and textured brushwork, blending cool sea-greens and slate blues with warm amber reflections cast by the hulls and rigging.

Working directly en plein air, he captured the fleeting light of the Adriatic coast with remarkable authenticity. Framed Dimensions: 20.47 x 24.40 in (52 x 62 cm). Photos are part of the description.
