Maurice Vagh-Weinmann is a Hungarian painter, engraver, illustrator, and lithographer born on August 20, 1899, in Budapest. He paints in an expressionist style and belongs to the first school of Paris.
As one of ten siblings, Maurice pursued a career as a painter along with two of his brothers. Maurice paints in Paris alongside his brothers Nandor and Elemer.Upon arriving in France, he anglicizes his name from Mihaly to Maurice.
