Beautiful oil painting on canvas panel signed at the bottom left V Loo dated 19.. For Van der Loo, Belgian school 20th century, the XI next to his signature indicating that he is the eleventh painter in his family. Painter, graphic artist, and musician, son and student of Marten Van Der Loo, he initially painted landscapes and portraits before turning to surreal abstract compositions in 1953.

Very well executed, with some traces on the left side that need restoration. Other paintings by the same artist are available in my shop. The photos are an integral part of the description.
