Very beautiful finesse of line. Giuseppe Vittorio Lumbroso, commonly known as "Guy Le Florentin," spent his childhood and adolescence in Italy and arrived in Marseille in the 1920s. He then met Raimu, who offered him a chance to make films, but Guy Le Florentin preferred to dedicate himself to painting.

He earned a living by creating commissioned portraits but became primarily known for his Corsican and Provençal landscapes. In 1927, he founded La Galerie contemporaine in Paris (Montmartre). He lived in Corsica from 1930 to 1938, and then split his time between Marseille, Monaco, and Paris until the end of his life. He died in 1978, saying, "I am the happiest of men. Because I own nothing anymore.

" Painting sold as is, possible defects see photos.
