Stanislas stone nolasque torrents y de amat is a French painter born in Marcheille in 1839 and died with canes in 1916. Child of rich Spanish immigrants, torrents followed drawing lessons in the 1850s and then went to barcelona to perfect his technique and bets where he entered the thomas sewing workshop in 1861.In 1866 the school of the fine arts of Barcelona awarded him a pension allowing him to go to Roma from 1868 to 1871. He returned to Marseille in 1873 and became a friend of the charles-roux jules and cantini jules, of which he became the favourite painter. His works are preserved in prestigious penlique institutions to worthy, canes, avignon, barcelone or even at the Musée des beaux-arts de marseille, which preserves more than 262 paintings of torrents that were left by his son in 1919.
