Roland Chavenon, born in Paris 6th arrondissement on December 19, 1895, and died on March 10, 1969 in Paris 14th arrondissement, was a French painter and art critic.

Jean Jacques Roland Chavenon was born at 23 Rue de Vaugirard, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, on December 19, 1895. In 1912, he published Une expression moderne de l'art français, le cubisme, which earned him praise from Apollinaire. He was an art critic for his father's newspaper, L'Information.

The museums of Grenoble and Nantes hold paintings by him. Une expression moderne de l'art français, le cubisme (1912).
