Rare pair of portraits representing Madame de Montespan and Anne of Austria. These are two oil paintings on wood. The paintings certainly date from the late 18th century / early 19th century. There is a trace of a signature on the portrait of Madame de Montespan, but almost illegible.

Additional photos available upon request. The gilt wood frames are more recent (late 19th / early 20th century), and are in very good condition. The measurements are 23 x 18 cm with the frame for the larger one and 22 x 17.5 cm with the frame for the smaller one.
