Oil on wood signed Peraire/dated 1882 or 92. Oil on wood - Signed/dated. Paul Emmanuel Péraire was born in Bordeaux in 1829 and died in 93 of the same year in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français starting in 1866. He would present his paintings there every year until the end of his life. His early large-format canvases are of a classical style, then his brushwork thickens and darkens, especially in smaller formats on wooden panels (TYPICALLY THE PAINTING I AM OFFERING); His style connects him to the Barbizon School and is reminiscent of Daubigny. His studio was dispersed at Drouot in 1893.

Measurements: approximately 20.5 x 32 cm / around 8.07 x 12.59 inches (please check the dimensions conversion). In its original condition, needs cleaning, some defects, missing parts, etc. Mondial Relay shipping offered without insurance/ask me if needed.
