Oil Painting on Antique Wood Basque Country Ciboure Signed Siette Eniberg Early 20th Century

  

Beautiful oil painting from the Basque Country circa 1910, depicting a landscape of the Basque Pyrenees with a hill and a summer farm in the foreground. The painting is signed or identified with its place of creation, and the subject is painted on an old beveled poplar panel, framed in solid oak. The painting is in good condition, although there are two small dents in the wood next to the signature and a few tiny spots of missing paint that do not affect the aesthetics of the artwork. I have properly reattached the painting with brass nails and added craft tape for a better finish.
