Oil on panel signed at the bottom right M Vilalta born in Marseille in 1872 and died in 1942 French school painter known for his landscapes and southern seascapes exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. Beautiful view of a Provençal landscape with a hamlet composed of several farmhouses. Carved wooden frame gilded with flower decorations. Subject well treated with beautiful mastery, lovely colors in shades of green, ochre, and brown. Frame 42.5 x 50.5 cm. Canvas 37.5 x 46 cm. Photos are an integral part of the description.
