Representing the "rock" in the Atlantic Ocean. Born in Paris, in 1879, he trained at the school of painting and sculpture of Moscow, before returning to France in 1906, where, as an illustrator, he collaborated in various newspapers and books for children. Impressionists seduce him and in many ways colour and light radiate in his works as in those of his illustrious predecessors. He painted, through a prolific production of some five hundred works, the Parisian life: the coffee terraces where the ladies put on their thirty-one, the big boulevards, the emblematic monuments of the city of light (eiffel tower, red mill). He also painted ships and landscapes on the Atlantic Ocean.

Framed in its original wooden frame with some usage marks. Height of view 36 cm. Width of view 44.5 cm. Frame 52 cm x 59.5 cm.
