THE ARTIST IS HIGHLY REGARDED BY CRITICS AND THE PUBLIC, WITH SIGNIFICANT MARKET VALUATIONS. Painter born in Naples in 1938, he graduated as a master of art in 1956.

That same year, he received a scholarship as the best student of the school, and four of his oil paintings were entrusted to the museum of the Institute of Art in Naples. He organized his first solo exhibition when he was only 19 years old. Before turning 20, he participated in the "Young Talents" exhibition at the famous "Blue of Prussia" gallery. In 1957, he also participated in the exhibition at the University of Naples, and in 1960, he took part in the "Port of Naples" prize. From there, solo exhibitions and participations in collective exhibitions followed throughout Italy: in Venice, Bari, Genoa, Rome, Milan, Bologna, and Turin.

As well as abroad: Paris, Lugano, and Waldkirchen. He was present, by invitation, in the "Linea Figurativa Napoletana: fifteen painters from 1930 to 1980" exhibition, organized by Carlo Munari, Domenico Rea, and Ciro Ruju, and in the "Sant'Anastasia," art in Europe and the world exhibition, currently visible at the Pinacoteca of Zara. The solo anthological exhibition promoted and sponsored by the city of Cherasco, at the Palazzo Salmatoris, in 2001, was very prestigious. His solo exhibitions in November 2008 and September 2011 at the Palazzo di Città in Mondovì were very well received by the public. And again in 2011 in Mondovì with "From Sicily to Piedmont," an exhibition successfully reproduced in 2012 in Frabosa Sottana (Cn).

Also in 2012, great satisfaction with an invitation to exhibit in June in Asiago (Vicenza) as part of the "Masterpieces of Art - Rembrandt, Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Ligabue, and the Venetians Ciardi, Dall'Oca Bianca, Borsato, Vedova" exhibition. His works are permanently exhibited in the R.

Serio and Mediterranea galleries in Naples, Galleria l'Elicottero in Lugano, Galleria Sacerdoti in Milan, Galleria Petit Tiberio in Paris, and Bottega d'Arte Costamagna in Mondovì. In November 2015, his works were admired at the Polo Culturale Palazzo Toledo in Pozzuoli. Newspapers and art magazines have shown interest in his painting, and many Italian and foreign critics have written about him. A selection of his works, awarded by an artistic commission, was exhibited in Korea in May 2016, and in 2016 as well, he began a tour of exhibitions in many cities in China before passing away that same year at the age of 78.

Di Napoli paints using various techniques such as tempera, acrylic, mist technique, pastel, watercolor, ceramics, inks, but he prefers oil. Among the most recurring subjects are Neapolitan views, seascapes, still lifes, Venetian calli, interiors with characters, or Milanese shortcuts where one can find a "memory" of Vincenzo Caprile, Nicolas de Corsi, Gabriele Smargiassi, or Rubens Santoro. But also the creeping impressionist lesson that has left no 20th-century author indifferent. Therefore, one recognizes in a painting by Di Napoli the Neapolitan figurative tradition, which cannot be otherwise, combined with the Italian lesson and the "realist" currents of past centuries embodied by a Turner, a Monet, a Renoir, or a Kokoschka, but interpreted with a personal inclination and influx that transcend borders and trends, far from all mannerism of vedutism and any tendency towards laziness.
