Grand elegant portrait medallion oil on curved wood, vintage Venetian

  
Very beautiful large oval medallion portrait, varnished oil on curved wood, vintage 1960s-70s, antique Venetian style. Integrated frame with raised edges, gilded with gold leaf. At the center is a raised portrait of a young elegant woman wearing a long white and blue dress, with fur draped over her shoulders. She is also wearing a few pearl jewels, against an interior background with a curtain, a corner wall, and an open terrace overlooking a blue sky and a tree.

46 cm high by 36.5 cm wide, quite rare in these dimensions, approximately 10 cm thick at most. Very good overall condition, though there are a few signs of wear such as a discreet crack at the top of the frame and a few scratches, notably along the arm holding the dress, also discreet.
