He began his studies at the Fine Arts of Montpellier and then entered the Decorative Arts of Nice. In 1949, he was admitted to the Fine Arts of Paris and joined Edouard Goerg's workshop.

In 1954, he became a scholar of the Maison Descartes. In 1956, he became a boarder of the Casa de Velasquez.

A prolific artist, he has created numerous paintings and engravings.
