The Entrance to Henri Martin’s House in Marquayrol. Édouard Cabane was awarded second prize in the Grand Prix de Rome in 1884. A student of William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1881 onward. Museums: Bordeaux, Périgueux, Poitiers, Reims, Troyes. Subject dimensions: 26.8 x 34.8 cm.

Framed dimensions: 30.3 x 38.3 cm. Condition: slight shrinkage of the paint layer, minor losses to the frame.
