Claude Ganiage Portrait of a Costumed Brazilian Man Folia De Reis Oil/Canvas
Folia de reis: a popular Brazilian costume festival, this is the justification for the costume of the Brazilian man depicted. This hyper-realistic portrait was created in the style of the old masters: natural pigments were ground to achieve the desired colors. The canvas itself underwent special treatment using hide glue. There is no need to say more; this portrait is absolutely fascinating.
