Signed in the top right. Charles Clément Francis Perron, born on August 22, 1893, in Plessé (Loire-Atlantique), passed away on April 18, 1958, in Nantes, was a French painter of the 20th century.

Between 1914 and 1919, not mobilized for health reasons, he held a chair in Nantes. He won the second Grand Prix de Rome in 1921. From 1936 to 1945, he was the curator of the Fine Arts Museum of Nantes. Charles Perron primarily painted landscapes, notably the Gâvre forest.

He sometimes used the technique of trompe-l'œil. The majority of his works are in private collections, some of which are in the museums of Nantes and Saint-Nazaire.
