Auguste Chauvin exhibited in 1851 at the Royal Academy of London. He is associated with the Düsseldorf school. Saint Cecilia playing the organ. Signed and dated 1855 lower left.
Dimensions of the subject: 28.5 × 17 cm. Dimensions with its frame: 54.5 × 35.5 cm. Condition: some cracks and losses to the frame.
