Appian adolphe signed appian in uppercase. Animated seaside landscape: characters on the ledge and in a boat. Oil on panel signed lower right. Panel 34 x 65 cm. Frame 49 x 79 cm. Observe: on the painting a small pile of material above the trees, an insect hole in the lower right and a slight scratch. Gilded wooden frame and stucco in use with some lacks to restore. The artist: no doubt jacques barthélémy appian says adolphe appian, a great painter from Lyon who no longer needs to present.
