Antony Beauger Cliffs of Cape Blanc 1876 Oil on wood diameter circle 11.3 cm

Born in 1826 in Paris. Almost all his paintings that he exhibited at the Salon from 1864 to 1883 represent landscapes of the banks of the Seine. In 1876, he presented at the Salon "The Cliffs of Cap Blanc." 10 kilometers west of Calais. This sketch is possibly a study.
