ANNECY Bridge over the THIOU Oil on wood signed 54.5 x 46.5 Painting 1950/60
This beautiful representation of a view of Annecy (Haute Savoie 74) the bridge over the Thiou (with a photo of the actual place in view) is an oil painting on plywood, measuring 54.5 cm in width and 46.5 cm in height, signed by Courtine, a unique work from around 1950/60 (estimated dating). The painting is in excellent condition, with no deformation of the wood, in a slightly blurred realistic style and of good quality. The painting is currently under plastic wrap, as shown in the latest views with the dimensions. View 3 shows the back of the painting, and view 5 shows the texture of the paint crust.
