Alfred Émile Léopold Stevens 1823-1906. Belgian School. Regatta
Signed and located Méditerranée lower right. Dimensions of the subject: 34.7 x 24.3 cm. Dimensions with frame: 53 x 42.2 cm. Alfred Émile Léopold Stevens, a student of Navez and then Roqueplan, exhibited in Brussels and at the Paris Salon, where he became friends with the Impressionists Bazile, Manet, Berthe Morizot, and Degas. His works are held in numerous museums worldwide.
