Exceptional price for a limited time. Size of a frame: 30 x 36 cm. Panel size: 19 x 24,5 cm. Weight of the whole: about 2.5 kg. Very nice pair of animated landscapes. Oil on mahogany wood panels. Px (for pinxit / painted by). In the spirit of the barbizon school. Representing characters on a wooded path, near a pond with in the background a village.

One of the scenes takes place by day, the other at dusk. Is an active painter in the 19th century. Painter of landscapes, marines and historical characters/scenes. The two paintings are fresh and solid.

Very nice technical mastery and beautiful details. The panels come with their vintage wooden frames and golden stucco. The whole is in good general condition.

Note: there are small gaps in the frames and there are some repaints (sorry). Light yellowing of the varnishes. You can find other items for sale on our website.
