Original wood oil circa 1930. Born on July 16, 1885 in la Rochelle. Georges morvan lived and worked in vanves. He studied art at the Julian Academy.

A student of william bouguereau, he exhibited at the independents' fair from 1913, at the French artists' fair and at the national society of fine arts fair.
