Superb: thatched cottage and child barbizon school. Oil painting on thick oak panel. Signed wery and dated 1847 at the bottom right (see last scan). In a recent golden frame.

Panel size 27.3cm x 21.5cm, with frame 38cm x 32cm. See 2nd scan for the right light and the right colors. State: beautiful state of the painting and panel, lack of gilding on the frame (see scans).
